For general domestic use, 15,000 to 25,000 Martindale are recommended, whereas commercial spaces like hotels require a durability of more than 50,000 Martindale.
Pilling is classified by a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 rates as the best result after having exposed the fabric to a certain amount of wear.
